The baseline terms for visiting this website and using a TrueScope information or decision-intelligence service.
By using this website, you agree to these terms. A TrueScope division may publish additional service terms, pricing rules, refund terms or professional-review conditions. If service-specific terms conflict with these website terms, the service-specific terms apply to that service.
1. About TrueScope
This website is operated by TrueScope (Pty) Ltd (Registration No. 2026/637909/07). TrueScope is a South African umbrella brand for specialist decision-intelligence services, including TrueScope Build and TrueScope Agri. TrueScope Legal, Property and Insurance are labelled “coming soon” and are not represented as active regulated services on this website.

2. Permitted use
You may use the website and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not attempt to disrupt security, gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape protected content, impersonate another person, misuse another person’s information or use the service to infringe rights or break the law.
3. Accounts and information you provide
You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for the accuracy, completeness and lawfulness of information you submit. You confirm that you have the right or permission to upload documents and personal information and to instruct TrueScope to process them for the requested service.
Do not upload unnecessary special personal information, passwords, banking credentials or unrelated confidential material.
4. AI-assisted services
TrueScope may use automated systems to extract, compare, classify and explain information. Outputs are based on information supplied and available reference data. They may contain errors, omissions or outdated assumptions and must be considered together with the full report, stated limitations and appropriate professional advice.
You remain responsible for your decisions. TrueScope does not guarantee a particular commercial, construction, agricultural, legal, financial, property or insurance outcome.
5. TrueScope Build limitations
Unless separately agreed in writing, a quote or document review does not include a physical site inspection, measurement verification, destructive investigation, engineering assessment or detection of concealed conditions. Market-price indicators and quantity checks are estimates, not guaranteed prices. A report does not certify a contractor, guarantee contractor performance or replace the work of a quantity surveyor, engineer, architect, attorney or other qualified professional where one is required.
6. TrueScope Agri limitations
Agricultural information is affected by location, weather, soil, crop stage, disease pressure, product registration and farm conditions. TrueScope Agri does not replace an agronomist, veterinarian, accredited adviser or legally required professional. Always follow product labels, applicable law and qualified advice before taking action.
7. Fees, cancellations and refunds
Prices, included work, delivery estimates and payment terms will be shown before purchase. Cancellations and refunds are governed by the service-specific terms and applicable South African law, including non-excludable rights under the Consumer Protection Act where applicable. Work already completed or irreversibly commenced may affect the amount refundable to the extent permitted by law.
8. Intellectual property
The TrueScope name, logos, website design, reports, methods, software and original content are protected by intellectual-property law. You retain ownership of material you lawfully submit. You grant the relevant TrueScope service a limited right to process it for the requested service, legal compliance, security and any separately authorised de-identified benchmarking.
A purchased report may be used for your personal or internal business decision-making but may not be resold, republished as a competing service or altered to misrepresent TrueScope’s findings.
9. Privacy and confidentiality
Personal information is handled under the Privacy Policy and POPIA Notice. Service-specific confidentiality terms may apply to uploaded quotes, farm data or professional documents.
10. Availability and third-party services
We aim to keep services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Hosting, payments, communications and specialist data may depend on third parties. Links to external websites are provided for convenience and do not mean TrueScope controls or endorses their content.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueScope is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or purely economic loss arising from reliance on website information or AI-assisted output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that South African law does not permit us to exclude. Any service-specific liability limit will be stated before purchase.
12. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Courts or dispute-resolution bodies with lawful jurisdiction in South Africa may hear disputes. We may update these terms when services or law changes; the current version and effective date will remain available here.
